Account Executive

Own the full sales cycle for TeselaGen's AI-powered biotech platform. Build relationships with enterprise pharma, industrial biotech, and academic institutions. Ideal candidates have experience selling SaaS solutions into life sciences.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of enterprise opportunities in pharma, industrial biotech, and academia
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to scientific audiences
- Develop account plans for strategic targets and coordinate with customer success for renewals and expansion
- Collaborate with marketing on lead qualification and campaign feedback
- Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking in CRM (HubSpot)
- Represent TeselaGen at industry conferences, trade shows, and scientific events
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to the product team
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience selling into life sciences, pharma, biotech, or related technical markets
- Ability to engage and build relationships with C-level executives, R&D leaders, and lab managers
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand complex technical workflows
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to Have
- Background in biology, bioinformatics, or a related scientific discipline
- Experience selling to LATAM markets
- Familiarity with synthetic biology, LIMS, or ELN products
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
