Technical Solutions Consultant

Serve as the technical bridge between our customers and product team. Help biotech organizations onboard, integrate, and maximize value from TeselaGen's platform. Requires a background in molecular biology or bioinformatics.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical onboarding and implementation for new enterprise customers
- Provide hands-on training sessions for scientists and lab managers on the TeselaGen platform
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts, resolving issues and answering questions
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for the engineering team
- Build custom workflows, integrations, and configurations using the TeselaGen API and platform tools
- Document best practices, FAQs, and training materials for the knowledge base
- Collaborate with sales during pre-sales technical evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements
- Gather and relay customer feedback to drive product improvements
What We're Looking For
- Background in molecular biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, or a related life science field (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, technical support, or consulting)
- Hands-on experience with bioinformatics tools, lab information systems (LIMS), or electronic lab notebooks (ELN)
- Comfortable reading and writing scripts in Python or JavaScript for integrations and data workflows
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Experience with synthetic biology workflows (cloning, strain engineering, DNA assembly)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, or data integration tools
- Experience with Benchling, SnapGene, Geneious, or similar biotech software
- Knowledge of lab automation platforms (Tecan, Hamilton, Opentrons)
